Day 01:Jammu – Katra
Arrive Jammu airport or railway station. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and drive to Katra. The distance is about 50 kms, will be covered in about 2 hours, upon arrival in Katra you will be transferred to the hotel. Katra is the starting point for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. Overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Katra – Vaishno Devi Katra
Early in the morning we proceed further to visit the Holy temple of Vaishno Devi. This temple is situated on the top of the hill. To visit this temple one has to hire pony or travel by foot. From Katra the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage is about 12 kms. After visiting the temple we return back to Katra the same day. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3 : Katra – Srinagar
After Breakfast drive to Srinagar, evening check in Deluxe Houseboat / Dinner & Overnight Srinagar.
Day 4 : Srinagar – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast take the half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). In the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. You will get a view of some very interesting Places around the Lake. Evening enjoy shikara ride tour which will cover Charchinar, Floating Gardens, Canals etc , after sightseeing back to Houseboat / Hotel. Overnight stay
Day 5 : Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (85 KM)
After Breakfast drive to Sonamarg, Full day excursion to Sonamarg (Meadow of Gold). The distance of about 83 kms will be covered in 2-1/2 hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh valley stream with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan lakes. Enjoy horse riding up to Thajwas glacier and sledge riding on snow. Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar. Dinner overnight in Houseboat / Hotel.
Day 6 : Srinagar – Gulmarg (58 KM)
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts above sea level. The distance of 58 kms will be covered in about 1-1/2 kms. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. 0ne can also have the view of Nanga Parbat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3hrs.Also enjoy sledge riding on snow or Gondola ride (Cable car) up to Khilanmarg to enjoy the fascinating view of Peerpanchal range and for pony ride. Overnight stay in Hotel at Gulmarg.
Day 7 : Gulmarg – Pahalgam (Around 150)
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds). The distance of about 150 kms will be covered in about 4-1/2hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipora ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside on the way and lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. Arrive Pahalgam transfer to hotel. After lunch have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains. Overnight in Hotel at Pahalgam.
Day 8 : Pahalgam – Srinagar
After breakfast leave for Srinagar Airport which will take 3hours to reach the airport to connect the Flight for further destination.
